There's always a Caleb in the friend group — this is the other one, and the band named itself after the joke. What started as a bit turned into a full-blown live show: three players, questionable costume choices, and a sound that can't decide if it wants to mosh or dance, so it does both.

The songs move fast between pop hooks, punk snarl, and funk groove — sometimes in the same verse. Come for the outfits, stay for the bassline.

Grudgestep

Atlanta-based band GRUDGESTEP can best be described as "Outlaw Grungecore." Their sound is notable for a plethora of heavy guitar riffs weaving through rhythms with driving drums and intricate bass lines, all topped by powerhouse vocals and melancholy storytelling.

"There's a lot going on in our sound, but we keep the essence of the project cohesive," explains Kellie (vocalist/guitarist). "We have broad influences between the three of us, and you can definitely tell that there's an old school feel to what we're writing, but by combining all of these styles and adding in that vulnerable aggression provided by the lyrics, we're looking to create something a little different for modern ears."
