About This Show

Emma LaPrade Band — Special Guest - Livi Birch — LIVE at MadLife Stage & Studios on Sunday, October 4th at 2:00!

Emma LaPrade Band

Emma LaPrade is an Atlanta-born indie singer/songwriter with a raw edge and a storyteller’s soul. Growing up in a family where music was at the center of everything, she found her voice an early age and never let it go. After 15 years of writing songs inspired by her own experiences and the stories of those around her, she’s built an indie sound that cuts deep—melancholic, honest, and unmistakably her own.

Livi Birch

SPECIAL GUEST

Atlanta-based singer/songwriter Livi Birch’s happy place is performing for an audience. She begged her mum for a guitar at 5 and borrowed a guitar at six and started lessons. She wrote her first song at eight years old about not getting a part in a musical theater production and not giving up. She performed it in a Sandy Springs park with a band made up of kids the same age and shortly after she signed with an acting agent after being encouraged to do so by members of the crowd.

At nine, she started the ukulele and booked the lead in a movie where they encouraged her to write something to perform in the movie. She wrote Tulsa’s Song and licensed it to the production. Since then, Liv has had two other songs licensed to tv projects and enjoyed working in tv and film. With the ups and downs of her acting career, music and songwriting are always something she can rely on to bring her back to a good place in life. Many of her songs relate to never giving up, which reflects her journey so far - with all the ups come a lot of downs.

Whilst Liv has experience performing during the audition process having just turned 17 she only recently started open mics around Atlanta and Nashville. She is developing her sound with inspiration from Stevie Nicks to Taylor Swift to……. She is thankful for the opportunity to perform at MadLife and all the support and advice to help develop her music career. She hopes to learn more about the recording process and release some of her original songs soon.
